How do we keep machines in check? What does that require? How should understand control? I am Sietze, a writer, philosopher, AI expert, and have a PhD on the topic of control. It is something that keeps me busy in every aspect of my life. I am curious about the experience of control but I am also about interested in the more technical aspects and practical aspects of control.

Outside the academic halls I also spend some time as a concept engineer (or philosophical consultant). I help companies think about the use of AI systems and what these systems could offer and what risks are involved.
